To get you started:

Name three mammals/insects/reptiles/amphibians/fish/mollusks/invertebrates.

What are the characteristics of the above animals?

Name three trees you can see.

What is the state and capital to the (insert direction here) from us?

What happened when Lincoln was president?

What type clouds are in the sky?

Which direction is west?

Which way is the water in that creek flowing? ("downhill" does not count!)

What county are we in?

What is our state bird/tree/flower, ect.?

Who is our mayor, governor, president, vice president?

What did we have for dinner last Tuesday?

Name the geological features of our state.

How old will you/I be in 2020?

What do the colors on our flag stand for?

How many windows/doors/steps are in our house?

Name three things you would find on a farm/a doctor's office/various store/police or fire station/bank/bakery/post offfice.

Tell the the nouns/verbs, ect in the following sentence: make up a variety of them.

Name three things in this area that we don't have at home.

Name three nut/fruit/flowering trees.

Name three vegetables/grains/herbs/poisonous plants.

Name the dangerous animals in our area.

Explain the rules of a familiar sport.
